Thank you for visiting  the mission page Grandpa J!  I am a songwriter releasing my music to serve a purpose outside and beyond recognition.  My purpose is to affect the lives of people and animals through the songs as other musicians have done for me throughout my entire life.  My intent is to encourage lives to be lived with integrity and purpose.  With truth and intention.  With actions intended to bring the same out of others.  Please look inside Grandpa J further to see what I am up to.  Please join me in this mission!

The purpose of this page is to inspire us to live to our full potential as individual humans.   As humans, we have the obligation to live to the best of ability no matter what our life experience has been.  My hope is to inspire others to do their best to in return inspire their families, friends, neighbors, coworkers and your community to do the same.  To do this, I am encouraging you do everything that you do to the obtain the best possible outcome.  This applies to anything you do that will be seen by others and anything that nobody will ever notice that you did except you.   

Where you start matters.  Where you end up matters more.

What are some ways that this can be done?  Some are obvious.  Some are overlooked, routine actions.

1.)  Say hi to everyone you pass whether or not you share eye contact.  Often others are afraid of the uncomfortable parts of life that come with engaging in eye contact with another human.  Say hello anyways.  You'll be surprised at what           often comes next.  I have been!

2.)  Directly after saying hello, ask how the person is doing or how their morning, afternoon, evening, day, weekend or week is going.  

3.)  Open and hold any and all doors open for anyone following you into the same building.  Take the time to be aware of the fact that someone is behind you with the intention of entering the same door as you are or are about to.  Proceed           to use the methods of 1 and 2 above while holding the door for these complete strangers.
